Google creeps in TVs

Google has united with Sony, Intel and Logitech for creation of a platform of digital Google TV, informs The New York Times. Partners wish to transform TVs and prefixes into convenient devices for Internet use.

Joint efforts of the company will create platform Google TV which will allow owners of TVs to use them also for navigation on web resources, for example, Twitter or Picasa. Thus possibilities of use of the Internet will be much wider, than at already existing TVs.

Basis for a television platform becomes OS Android, used in smart phones, and processors Intel Atom. In the future, to foreign developers will open access to a digital code of a platform that will allow them to create own programs for Google TV. All video content will be loaded on a personal webhosting, therefore problems with copyrights will not arise.

Project working out is conducted some months, and details became known thanks to anonymous sources. Representatives Google, Intel and Logitech have refused to give official comments. Nevertheless, it's clear, why to participants this project can be favourable: Sony and Intel at successful cooperation will affirm in the market of TV-technologies, Google will make one more step to a world gain ;)

But now the sense of creation of television search system became clear. Search in a video content — the joint project of corporation Google and Dish Network, at present time this service is tested on web hosting by Dish Network.
